Night Prayer at Hulme Hall

Rehearsing the music

Twenty five students joined Sr Lucie and me for Night Prayer on All Saints Day, in Hulme Hall Chapel.

This is a special time of the year – remembering saints, and loved ones who have died.

The departed were indeed remembered and the choirs of saints and angels were most fittingly joined by hulme hall students for a few minutes that November evening.

It was a wonderfully still service, by candlelight.  The singing voices gave the worship a real sense of common purpose which was wonderful. So many voices in the small space of Hulme Hall Chapel was very powerful indeed.
