A Marriage in Port Harcourt

Budubueze recently took a break from singing at Mass at St Chrysostom’s Church, and working in Lancashire, to go to Southern Nigeria – to get married!

He and Nengimonyu were married on 19th November in the church ceremony at St Andrew’s Anglican church, Diobu, Port Harcourt.

Both bride and groom are great singers and so what a wedding!

Three Choirs were in attendance namely, St. Andrew’s Church Choir (wearing the white robe), Trinity Voice Choir of Choba (wearing purple robes) and the Choral Voices of Port Harcourt. There where about 70 choristers in total.

Budubueze comments: The part we enjoyed most was when I had to do a duet with my wife (‘By thee with bliss’ from Joseph Haydn’s Creation) and the three choirs sang the chorus following the duet.

May God bless their married life together.
