Nuns, kites and cats

Kite making, musical painting, walking, joining the sisters in prayer, playing Articulate .. were just some of the things a group from St Chrysostoms did at the weekend at the CHN Convent in Derby.

We enjoyed peace and tranquillity at the homely and welcoming Convent of the Community of the Holy Name. It was a place of obvious, prayerful and gentle openness.

We got to know one another better, and enjoyed times of fun but also talked about deep issues.

We had the space to relax and discuss.

… and we saw Sr Brenda pushing Bella the cat in a wheelbarrow, Sr Lucie made and flew a kite, and we joined all the sisters at prayer.
