Manchester Uni’s Wild Rovers

The Wild Rovers hit St John’s and St Chrysostom’s Schools this week.

A group of students from Hulme Hall played in front of children in both schools including an Irish finale worthy of St Patrick himself.

The children enjoyed the variety of the music and heard what the students were studying at Manchester University. Law and Politics student Thom Nixon implored everyone to take up a musical instrument –
It’s the best thing I ever did he said.

All agreed that, as Miss Michael the Headteacher of St Chrysostom’s
said, Victoria Park’s got talent!

Kolshuma of St John’s School said I thought they were great. it was really brilliant – especially when they played the Simpsons theme tune!
