Our Church Rosary group is a time of prayer and a time of enjoying one another’s company. It’s also innovative. As well as at Church we like to say the Rosary in different places.
Skyping the Rosary
On Tuesday, the eve of the Assumption the Rosary group was especially innovative – we bilocated.
Pilgrims at Walsingham gathered at 5.15pm in the Norton Room at the Anglican Shrine (where there is a WiFi signal) and friends in Manchester gathered at Church at the same time. Ginny and Florence connected us through Skype, and simultaeously in Walsingham and at St Chrysostom’s we prayed a decade of the rosary.
The connection was not brilliant but that added to the fun and surprise of it.
Our attempt at bilocation may not have been as good as some of the saints have managed bilocating, but we did feel united in prayer, and in mutual encouragement (and there was a sense of fun too!).
