Vote for the donkey’s name

On Advent Sunday, 2nd December, Mary and Joseph and the donkey begin their annual special journey around our parish and area. They are from our children’s nativity set and they arrive in Church on Christmas Eve. They made the journey successfully last Advent and kept a blog of their journey – you can read it by clicking here.

We need your help. The donkey needs a name. Can you help us choose one?

This year you have three choices, all Biblical names: Balaam, Barak, Bathsheba

Balaam, who had a famous talking ass in the Bible.

Barak, meaning ‘Thunder’ – and a tribute to the US election year!

Bathsheba, a woman of beauty, who became King David’s wife.

You can only vote here! Vote now. The poll closes on November 25th.

Stop Press: The poll has now closed BALAAM was the winner.
