A light in our community

IMG00236-20121221-0908This morning children, staff, governors and parents of St Chrysostom’s school gathered for a special school assembly to say goodbye to Ann Jackson who has given remarkable and dedicated service to St Chrysostom’s Church of England School for over 25 years. What an outstanding achievement!

The school is rightly proud of Mrs Jackson, and she will remain in our memories as a person of light and encouragement.

Mrs Jackson was described as a ‘magical’ person, a ‘mother to all,’ ‘surrounded in light’… There were tears of farewell, joyful singing, laughter, and Ann’s personal encouragement to all, mingled together in the assembly.

Our varied and transient community is strengthened by dedicated people like Ann Jackson, who faithfully follow their calling. She has, through her hard work, vision and loving care at the school,  helped strengthen our school and community.

Thank you Ann, we are proud of you.

We wish Ann a very happy retirement and God’s blessings on the years ahead.
