Words about the Mass

SSDFor Benediction at Corpus Christi Philip and Toby, our parish assistants, asked people from the congregation if they could give some personal words about the Mass. Here are a selection:

“It’s when I remember Christ’s death on the cross and his love for us.”
“The sacrament can change the difficulties in my life.”
“Being part of a family and the joy of partaking and seeing others partake.”
“A presence like no other.”
“A mystery that is not easy to put into words.”
“Something I don’t feel I can participate in but would like to.”
“The closest you get to Christ on earth.”
“The body and blood of Christ.”
“Family and tranquility.”
“Leads us towards our salvation.”
“A way of having a open relationship with God.”
“The meeting is more important than the eating.”
