Six (and a half) concelebrants at South Creake

The concelebrants at the Mass at South Creake

The concelebrants at the Mass at South Creake

We’re on pilgrimage at Walsingham this week, and this morning we were warmly welcomed at South Creake by Fr Clive Wylie, the Parish Priest there. Fr Clive told us about the beautiful church, and his ministry – and also told us how St Edmund’s crown mysteriously wanders round the church! Then we celebrated Mass together, for St Monica’s day.

A special thank you to South Creake church for their welcome.

Malcolm writes:

Our first excursion for Mass at South Creake was nothing short of idyllic. Narrow country roads, ably negotiated by our intrepid coach driver, brought us to a church so richly endowed with marvels, not least an angel roof in perfect condition erected to celebrate victory at the Battle of Agincourt some six hundred years ago.

Off the beaten track, this was truly a rural paradise for our celebration; let’s hope we repeat the experience next year!
