We’re all going to the zoo, zoo, zoo

Our parish assistants get out a little! John writes:

blackpool zoo 001Yesterday, I joined fifty children from the Year 1 and Reception classes at St John’s School for a thrilling day at Blackpool Zoo.

We saw lions and elephants

and lots of other strange and beautiful animals, and even some dinosaurs (on Blackpool Zoo’s ‘Dinosaur Trail’).

A fun-packed and exhausting day, with the sun shining on us and back on the coach home just before the heavens opened, and with plenty to talk about and draw back in the classroom.
